Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Fairy tale
The fairy tale about Alice's adventures in Wonderland, created by the great English writer Lewis Carroll (1832-1898), has been a favorite reading for children and adults for more than a century. In this edition, the text of the fairy tale is published in the classical translation by N. M. Demurova. She also owns an afterword dedicated to the life and work of L. Carroll and his place in English and world literature, an article about the fairy tale "Alice in Wonderland" and detailed comments. In the "Additions" section, a translation of an early version of the fairy tale is published — "Alice's Adventures Underground", also performed by N. M. Demurova. For the first time in Russia, the book reproduces a full cycle of illustrations created by the English artist Charles Robinson (1870-1937).
