Book Description
The collection presents an analysis of the gravitational field for the area of the Skosha Sea and adjacent territories and assesses the degree of isostatic equilibrium of the region. The history of studying the oil and gas deposits of the Svalbard archipelago and the prospects for their development are considered. The distribution scheme of oil and gas formation foci in the deposits of the Pechora Sea has been compiled. Based on geological and geophysical data and paleotectonic reconstructions, an attempt is made to show that the Arctic Ocean is genetically a composite heterogeneous formation. The results of geomorphological and seismological studies of various areas of the Barents Sea are summarized. The study of the hydrochemical structure of the waters of some seas of the Southern Ocean has been continued.
