Artificial intelligence and law. From fundamental problems to applied problems. Monograph
This monograph is an interdisciplinary study of fundamental problems and applied problems of legal regulation of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) systems. The paper examines the impact of technological revolutions on the development of social relations, as a result of which the established legal approaches changed. The technological progress of recent decades has resulted in the emergence of technical means capable of making independent decisions, including those of legal significance. Such autonomy of technical means caused the emergence of a number of fundamental legal problems. The legislation is given as of February 1 , 2022 . The monograph identifies and examines the most significant problems: delegating decision-making capabilities to AI systems, establishing the subject of responsibility for the harm caused by AI systems, transparency and accountability of the functioning of AI systems. Based on the results obtained, the authors managed to proceed to the formulation of approaches to solving applied problems, which made it possible to develop proposals for improving the domestic concept of regulatory legal regulation of the use of AI systems.
