Book Description
The collection is devoted to theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the funeral rite in modern archeology. The published articles discuss the theoretical and methodological developments that are used in modern archeology, both Russian and foreign, to interpret various aspects of the funeral rite. Thematically, the issue consists of several blocks. The first one, the largest one, includes articles devoted to general theoretical and methodological problems of studying the funeral rite. The second section is devoted to anthropological research. The third includes materials related to the Neolithic and Bronze Ages. The next section presents articles on the era of the early Iron Age and the early Middle Ages. The publication concludes with the cloth section "Middle Ages and Ancient Rus'". This collective study will be of interest to fellow archaeologists and representatives of sciences related to archeology.
