Fairy tales
The book presents selected Fairy Tales of the outstanding Belgian French-speaking writer and poet Maurice Karem (1899-1978). The work of this classic of children's literature of the XX century gained worldwide fame during the author's lifetime. Stylistically perfect, subtle and touching works of the master, imbued with carefree fun, then light sadness, written in an unusually poetic language, "push the limits of the soul and the boundaries of the world." The book includes fairy tales from the collections "Fairy Tales for Caprina", "The Kingdom of Flowers", "When animals spoke", "Sea Castle", the fairy tale "Glass Ball", as well as a small selection of poems. The publication contains a detailed article about the life and work of Maurice Karem. A series of illustrations by the famous St. Petersburg artist Galina Lavrenko, created specifically for this book, is being published for the first time.
