History of astrology
The historical role of astrology is that it removes the veil from the social and intellectual aspects of history in science, religion, philosophy, politics and art. Astrology was the mirror in which the changing spirit of each century was reflected, an intellectual study to which hardly any of the classical thinkers, the minds of the Middle Ages or the Renaissance remained indifferent. It has undergone an unusual process of democratization, turning from religious, royal, political art into a universal guide to the knowledge of human character.
