This commentary is devoted to Federal Law No. 217-FZ of July 29, 2017 "On the conduct of gardening and gardening by citizens for Their Own Needs and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation", the provisions of which affect a significant part of the population of the Russian Federation. The commentary discusses the features of the new legal regulation in the sphere of gardening and gardening by citizens, conducts a comparative legal analysis of this law and the previously valid provisions of the Federal Law of April 15, 1998. No. 66-FZ "On horticultural, horticultural and suburban non-profit associations of citizens". The commentary has been prepared taking into account the law enforcement and judicial practice that was previously formed within the framework of gardening and gardening relations. The legislation is given as of September 2017 . The commentary is intended not only for the participants of the horticultural and horticultural community of our country, but also for representatives of state authorities, local governments, legal experts, practicing lawyers and any other readers who are not indifferent to the problems under consideration and are interested in them.
