You are holding in your hands a textbook on legal informatics, that is, the theoretical part of the course "Information technologies in the activity of a lawyer", which the author reads at the Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Legal informatics consists of three parts: information theory, the theoretical foundations of information technology and the foundations of safe behavior in cyberspace. For convenience, the training material is presented in lectures. The technical, technological, economic and other fundamentals of the digital transformation currently taking place are outlined in this textbook for lawyers. Theoretical material, examples, accents in the presentation take into account the possibility of using the acquired knowledge in further studies at the Faculty of Law and in professional activities.
