A fairy tale about the adventures of a simple peasant son Ivan, written in poetic form based on Russian folk tales. Ivan, by decree of the tsar, sets off to save the princess Zarnitsa, who was kidnapped by the Serpent Gorynych. As a reward, the tsar promises Ivan to marry the rescued princess. On the way, he meets many friends and helpers who help him fulfill the royal mandate. After going through trials and overcoming all difficulties, Ivan helps Princess Zarnitsa return to the king-father, but. betray him himself. The moral of the tale is simple - a kind heart will always find friends who, in difficult times, will help to cope with adversity and emerge victorious.
