Programming discipline. Computer mathematical support
The book was written by one of the largest foreign specialists in the field of programming, known to the Soviet reader for translations of his books into Russian (for example, "Structural Programming", "Mir", 1972). It is devoted to the fundamental issues of designing correct and elegant computer programs. It offers a method for the formal derivation of the program from the mathematical formulation of the problem. At the same time, the development of algorithms is traced up to the creation of programs. The material is presented in the form of witty and instructive programming tasks. The book is of considerable interest to a wide range of programmers.
