Pushkin's Fairy Tales in illustrations by Boris Zvorykin
The legendary Paris edition of Pushkin's Fairy Tales with illustrations by Boris Zvorykin became one of the most recognizable children's books of the XX century and instantly received the status of a bibliographic rarity. Zvorykin, like his famous contemporaries Bilibin, Roerich and Vasnetsov, created his own style based on the traditions of Russian folklore and preserved the authentic fairy-tale spirit of Ancient Russia. The book also includes Russian folk tales with illustrations by Zvorykin from the artist's unique handwritten album.
