Tales of the Thousand and One Nights
This edition includes six famous Arabic fairy tales from the Arabian Nights, including The Tale of the Fisherman and Ali Baba and the Forty Robbers. Our collection is based on the French edition of fairy tales from 1907, which has long become a bibliographic rarity, translated into Russian by Mikhail Yasnov. The book is decorated with a cycle of fifty illustrations by the outstanding English artist Edmund Dulac (1882-1953), now recognized as a masterpiece of the golden age of English book graphics.
