Manager's Terminology Reference
Manager's Terminology Reference
Book Description
On the one hand, many management terms are introduced and used in university textbooks on the areas of training "Management" and "State and Municipal Management", as well as in books recommended to MBA students. On the other hand, there is a regulatory framework (GOST standards, codes of knowledge and collections of recommended terms), which book authors usually do not use. And managers are also poorly familiar with GOST standards and collections of recommended terms. This handbook contains 484 definitions of terms taken from this regulatory framework. The horizon of a retrospective study of Russian standards is 10 years, the number of GOST standards studied is about 20,500. The appendices contain definitions of 113 terms of the theory of inventive problem solving and the theory of constraints, for which no GOST is in effect yet, the adopted/current GOST standards for project management, system and software engineering, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies are indicated. This handbook can be useful to a wide range of: - heads of state and municipal authorities and institutions, - heads of structural divisions of state and municipal authorities and institutions, - managers, - entrepreneurs, - business owners, - teachers and university students, as well as - MBA students.
