The wind in the willows
The fairy tale "The Wind in the Willows" (1908) by the English writer Kenneth Graham (1859-1932) has long been a classic of world children's literature. The funny and instructive adventures of four friends - Mola the mole, Badger the badger, Rat the water rat and Toda the toad - against the background of poetic pictures of English nature found their ardent fans among Russian readers, among whom there were many adults. The book reproduces a cycle of illustrations by a young Moscow artist Ksenia Alekseeva.
