Usinovlenie v Anglii. Monografiya
The problems related to adoption are among the most controversial in the modern science of family law. This monograph is the first comprehensive scientific study of the Institute of adoption in England and Wales as a priority area of state policy for the protection of the rights of children left without parental care, which focuses on those categories of children (adolescents, children from large families, children with mental or physical disabilities), the transfer of which for adoption is significant difficulties. The work was carried out on the basis of a thorough study of English statutory law and acts of delegated legislation, judicial precedents, works of well-known English and other foreign scientists and specialists in the field of adoption. Historical and modern sources of English legislation on adoption were introduced into scientific circulation for the first time, a fragmentary comparative legal analysis of the regulation of the institution of adoption in the Russian Federation and other countries of the common law system is given. The monograph may be of interest to students, postgraduates, teachers of law schools, officials of local self-government and guardianship and guardianship, human rights defenders, as well as to all those who are interested in the problems of both national and international adoption and seek to learn about the positive experience of European countries in order to protect the rights of Russian children.
