The monograph, consisting of two sections, discusses problematic issues related to epidemiology, features of formation, clinic, dynamics and prevention of forms of mental pathology relevant to military psychiatry (section I), as well as promising approaches to optimizing the diagnosis of mental disorders, forecasting and monitoring of mental health in military personnel (section II). The work is based on the main results of scientific research of the staff of the Department of Psychiatry of the Military Medical Academy named after S. M. Kirov, carried out in recent years. The monograph is addressed to psychiatrists, as well as specialists in related fields (neurologists, psychophysiologists, psychologists, health care organizers) who carry out their professional activities mainly in the interests of law enforcement agencies.
