Volki v ovechih shkurah. "Rassuzhdeniya protiv proricatelnoy astrologii i renessansnaya mysl Italii"
The book deals with disputes about the status of astrology that unfolded in Renaissance Italy in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. The reason for the discussion was the publication in 1496 of the last treatise of Giovanni Pico della Mirandola (1463-1494) "Reasoning against divinatory astrology". Distinguished by his education and breadth of interests even against the background of his contemporaries and even during his lifetime became a legend, Giovanni Pico subjected astrology to crushing criticism. The book is addressed to historians, philologists, philosophers, as well as all those interested in the cultural renaissance of Italy and Europe as a whole.
