The general history of Management
The general history of Management
Book Description
For the first time, a book has been written reflecting the cumulative historical experience of management in many countries and among many peoples, starting from primitive times and ending with modern management, as well as the prospects for its development in the XXI century. This book is an attempt, firstly, to show the place, structure and content of one of the important branches of our common history, and secondly, to give a more or less systematic description of management in its historical development. The authors in no way pretend to the academic completeness and rigor of the presentation of the material; moreover, they did not attempt to form a new theoretical approach to the subject. Their main task is to establish a certain conceptual and methodological "order" in the management history, which is rich in views that do not always coincide. The book is intended for a wide range of readers: managers, economists, historians - all those who are interested in studying the theory and practice of the history of management.
