Vseobshiy grajdanskiy kodeks Avstrii
For the first time, a translation of the Universal Civil Code of Austria, which has been in force (with amendments) for almost 200 years, is published in Russian. Studying foreign legislation, on the one hand, broadens professional horizons, on the other - allows you to look at the legislation of your own country from a different angle, especially since Russia and Austria belong to the same legal family. The ideas expressed in the Universal Civil Code of Austria and the approaches and mechanisms used may well be useful in improving domestic legislation. The translation of the text of the VGK will also be useful to those lawyers who are faced with the need for practical application of modern Austrian civil legislation. The text of the translation can be used by students of law schools and faculties when learning German.
