ISD1820 module (Fig. 1) for recording and playback of one voice message up to 10 seconds long. The module includes an electret microphone for recording a message and buttons for recording, partial or full playback of a message. The recording is stored in the internal EEPROM memory of the ISD1820, and does not disappear after a power outage. The board can interact with the microcontroller. The kit of this module includes an 8 ohm 0.5W speaker and a cable that can be connected directly to the speaker output of the module.
