Paste for sealing threaded connections "UNIPAK" (tube 250 g)
UNIPAK sealing paste is a gray, highly viscous substance. All components included in the composition are allowed as additives in food products.
Application.
UNIPAK paste is used together with flax fibers or sealing flax cord to seal threaded connections in pipeline systems for hot and cold water, as well as low-pressure steam. The paste ensures absolute tightness of the connection, and also (unlike, for example, FUM tape) greater flexibility when adjusting pipe connections. The angle of possible adjustment of the connection is at least 45° without loss of tightness. The use of UNIPAK paste makes it possible to easily dismantle threaded elements of equipment in the future.
When assembling threaded connections of pipes and fittings using UNIPAK paste and flax fibers, it is possible to obtain connections that remain sealed at temperatures up to + 140 ° C and a pressure of 8 bar.
Mode of application.
Thoroughly clean the threads of dirt and metal shavings. Wind flax fibers onto the thread evenly and tightly in the direction of the thread pitch along its entire length. Apply the required amount of UNIPAK paste in an even layer. After a short period of time, you can assemble and begin operating the pipeline. Any excess paste can be easily removed
