The SilverStone F1 Leman S radar detector
The SilverStone F1 Leman S radar detector works on the basis of the most advanced technologies, combining the functionality of a radar part, a GPS receiver and a special signature board.
The radar part receives signals in the ranges X, K, Arrow, Laser. Reception of laser signals is provided by a highly sensitive lens.
The GPS part works on the basis of a database of cameras and radars, which is loaded into the device at production and later must be regularly updated by the user, since the data in the database is constantly changing. The GPS part is responsible for detecting monitoring systems that do not send a signal, and also ensures the operation of various speed filters.
The signature part works based on the signature library developed by the manufacturer. A signature is a digital code of a signal sent by a radar or some other monitoring system. Leman S detects the type of radar by its signature and notifies the user about it. The signature library includes all devices used on the roads of Uzbekistan, Russia and the CIS. The signature library is also subject to update.
