The sensor can measure the temperature every five seconds and sees a difference of even 0.1 degrees Celsius. During the night, the sensor monitors changes in body temperature and collects information that will be useful for monitoring menstruation and ovulation cycles.
The Apple Watch Series 8 has a new Crash Detection feature, which is designed to help in an emergency. Smart watches determine whether the owner of the gadget has been in a car accident. They collect information from various sensors and are able to detect various types of collisions and their consequences, including rollover, frontal, rear and side impacts. If the user does not respond to the notification, the watch itself will call an ambulance and contact an emergency contact.
The company notes that the Apple Watch Series 8 has the same battery life, 18 hours, as the previous model. However, the appearance of a new power saving mode allows you to extend the operating time of the device up to 36 hours when fully charged.
The Apple Watch Series 8 is powered by the new watchOS 9 operating system with an expanded selection of watch faces and an updated workout app.
